Redeem the Summer Internships (RTS) are an excellent opportunity to take the next step into missions.
If you've asked God, "Is Missions Where You're Calling Me?" then an RTS Internship is just for you.
As an RTS intern, you'll serve alongside International Messengers (IM) missionaries, who will not only care for you, but challenge you and hold you accountable to set goals. Also, the six weeks will give you time needed to seek God and see what missions is like on a day-in, day-out basis.
Each ministry needs interns who come with a heart to learn, a willingness to love and a hunger to lean harder into Jesus! There are many ministry opportunities which may include discipleship, international church involvement and music ministry, university student ministry, outreach to Roma, orphans, or other at-risk people groups, evangelism and working with youth. Ministry opportunities vary from year to year.
Caring for the homeless and addicted through the ministry of the Friendship House. FH is a ministry center where folks come to find conversation, a meal and warm drink, and care for their needs physically, emotionally and spiritually. An intern would need a servants heart and a willingness to love those the world calls unlovely.
Information to come...
Come to the city located on the Black Sea, where many need the Gospel of Jesus Christ. An intern would work alongside a wonderful, large family, as they reach out to the people of Mangalia and beyond. An Evangelistic English Language Camp and a soccer camp will be a big part of the internship. Also, the intern should be teachable and have a heart to share the Gospel.
An intern would live and serve at the River of Life Care Home, a ministry sacrificially serving mothers and their children. There is so much to do...interns would enter into the daily life, along with the staff and residents of the Care Home. Daily activities with purpose are planned for as many as twenty kids. Maintenance and light construction projects are ongoing; cutting wood to prepare for winter; conducting village outreaches and activities with the kids are the norm. There will also be opportunities for Bible study and developing deeper relationships with the Care Home residents.
An intern will work alongside Amon Nabasa and his team of volunteers pursuing and caring for the youth in the northern region of Uganda. Their aim is to involve youth in ministry. They want to challenge them to spiritual and personal development and increase their knowledge of the Word of God. Who will join them!?
