From Our MMT GRaduates

“How was your experience at MMT?”

“I had the most wonderful experience at MMT.  I felt so cared for and loved…It was my first experience to that level of discipleship.  It was such a gift from God.”

Olivia Kamanga

Serving in South Africa

“”Some of the classes that helped me the most: Spiritual Warfare—opened my eyes to the realities of the spiritual war that goes on behind everything. Discipleship—gave us lots of practical tools. The classes on different personality types helped me to work better with people who are different from me.”

Laura Dan

Serving in Hungary

“God used the much slower pace to convict and refresh me…God used it (my time at MMT) mostly for healing church and male leadership wounds.”

Briana Busenitz

Serving in the USA and globally

Training

A variety of Bible, missions, and ministry skills classes are presented in a modular style. These concentrated courses allow trainees to focus on one primary subject and facilitate the use of visiting instructors who have exceptional expertise in their fields of study or ministry.

These classes are enhanced by personal character development, relationship building, and practical application, including outreach projects and ministry opportunities. The unique living atmosphere is designed to help everyone learn to love and minister effectively.

Internship

After successfully completing the training program, each trainee will do an 18-month missionary internship.

Most interns will serve with IM in Europe, South America, or Africa. The interns will serve as part of a team alongside a veteran missionary. Interns are not required to speak a foreign language.

Some of the ministry opportunities interns may be involved in are: Evangelistic English Camps, discipleship, teaching English as a second language, children’s ministry, Roma ministry, youth ministry, evangelism, small group Bible studies, preaching and church planting.

FOR CHURCHES

MMT enables the local church to equip and send missionaries from their fellowship.

This is an excellent investment of mission funds and we encourage the sending church to provide up to 50% of the support needed by the missionary intern.

The amount of support raised should cover the entire training and internship period. Mountainside Ministry Training is committed to keeping this experience as affordable as possible and will provide training in raising prayer and financial support.
