CHRIST AT SCHOOL — AT THE ORPHANAGE

Since 2018 I have been the director of the children’s home (Village of Hope) for refugee children from South Sudan. I have seen the wonders of God in the lives of these sweet souls through Christ Jesus. My goal is to reach out to South Sudan by evangelizing to the Sudanese children from the orphanage. As they grow up, not only physically but spiritually in the Word of God, they can go back and scatter seeds of the gospel everywhere in their country. They will not only serve Christ there, but will live out Christ-likeness—meaning their lives will be exemplary according to 2 Timothy 2:2.

I’m looking forward to raising 250 refugee children, who will become adults for the mission in South Sudan. You are invited to be part of this amazing ministry from wherever you are; the distance between us doesn’t matter. Since the beginning when the school started with 56 children at the Village of Hope Children’s Home, many testimonies have come from the refugee settlement camps each time the children go back during the end-of-year school break. They are living such incredible godly lives in their community…it is so cool to see the future today in them.

LIFE BRIDGE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL. Life Bridge is such a beautiful name, linking the physical world to the spiritual world in Christ Jesus. Second, it also means the link of education, which provides development in the world through one’s contributions gained through knowledge from school. The school has been in operation for one year. The strategy of evangelizing both children and adults works well. The question is… why the children? The world today is targeting children. Just look at the education system, the entertainment industry, politics, etc. Every poisonous message is brought to the children, and they grow up with it. We introduce them to the tradition and culture of God through Christ, other than the tradition and culture of men. They experience the love of God through Christ at an early age. The children will always live out what their parents have built them up into.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvestis plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Matthew 9:37-38

How I reach out to people for Christ:

1) Pastoral training (Timothy Initiative)

2) Football training for youth during my leisure time. Here we start with prayers and end with the word of God.
